Why, Tom? Why? After 10 years of those crazy teeth, why fix them? Why did you fix the fangs?? :( They were hot.
I know it probably sounds dumb but I always thought his vampire fangs were a small imperfection that made him still look like a real person with flaws as opposed to a perfect adonis. It was the Clark Kent imperfection in his Superman persona. I loved his messed up teeth.
I’m being a true hypocrite here as I had a Dentist shave my teeth down to correct the same issue years ago because it had always bothered me. No one else probably would have noticed it but I noticed it so I had it fixed.
But I’m sorry…I have to weep for the loss of Tom’s vampire fangs.
I mourn the fangs & not so symmetrical alignment, too. The fangs were the inspiration for big vampire stories. And like you said, it made him seem more human, less Adonis.
BUT his teeth were the one thing that he got teased about when he was a kid. So I can see him doing it for the career. He’s not going to be getting any more ‘boy’ or ‘young man’ roles. And if they bugged him, he should do something about it.
I will miss the “Tommy teeth” but am looking forward to seeing him at work again. He has a beautiful smile no matter what.
My son asked if Tom will be working with Michael Bay? (who had the East Coast born & raised Ben Affleck cap his teeth for Armaggedon)
